The Noissim Care logo though simple has been designed with hope and healing in mind. Our design’s detail focusses on blue dots and has inspiration in the following story.
An American Astronomer name Carl Sagan wrote a book called Pale Blue Dot. The book was inspired by a Voyager mission on the 14 of February 1990. As the spacecraft was departing our planetary neighborhood for the fringes of the solar system, the camera was turned around to take one last picture of earth.
Voyager 1 was about 6.4 billion kilometers (4 billion miles) away. The photo captured Earth as a pale blue dot.
He reminds us of the amazing and creative complexities of life on this pale blue dot:
“That’s home. That’s us. On it is everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives (on this pale blue dot?). The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every “superstar,” every” supreme leader,” every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there-on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam.”
